Internet Experts to Discuss Future of World Wide Web in Seoul

The 23rd International World Wide Web Conference opened on Wednesday in Seoul at the COEX convention center.
Web technology and standardization experts from across the globe will discuss the future direction of the Web at the conference.
Tim Berners-Lee, the inventor of the World Wide Web, will be there along with 16 domestic and foreign companies, including Naver, Daum, Google, Facebook and Microsoft. The companies will hold exhibitions and introduce their latest technologies.
The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards are jointly hosting the event.
The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy said the conference will offer an opportunity to check out the latest Web technology and personally meet renowned Web experts and developers.
