Russian doctors are visiting Seoul National University Hospital in Bundang this year to learn about advanced medical treatment.

The hospital said a second group of eleven doctors began a two-week program on Friday after the first group of 12 doctors finished last month.

The hospital signed an agreement with the public health administration in Moscow in September last year to invite 250 Russian doctors in groups to the hospital to observe surgeries and learn advanced medical techniques. The Moscow health administration set aside two billion won in budget for the training.

This would be the largest team of foreign medical experts to ever visit Korea for training.

The two-week training session includes the latest medical expertise in cardiovascular examinations and celioscopy surgeries.
