Choi Kyung-ju has been chosen as the Johnnie Walker Asian Golfer of the Year. AFP said Sunday that organizers of the Johnnie Walker Classic announced Choi was to receive the award based on his outstanding performance last year. Choi became the first Korean and the fourth Asian to win on the U.S. P-G-A Tour last year.
