Biography: 

NCT DREAM is a subunit of the boy band NCT which formed in 2016 and debuted with the single “Chewing Gum.” The subunit was intended to be a teenaged unit of NCT with an admission-and-graduation system, where members would leave after reaching 20 (in Korean age). However, the concept was dropped in 2020 when the group began promoting as a fixed seven-member group. The group is known for music reflecting youth and adolescence, growth, and the transition from innocence to rebellion. They’ve appeared three consecutive times on Billboard’s “21 under 21” list for their industry impact on sales from 2018 to 2020 and were included on Time’s list of the “25 Most Influential Teens” of 2018.
