C-Real debuted onto the music scene in October of 2011 with an album that featured six songs that were penned by some of the most notable producers in Korea. Two notable ones being Shinsadong Tiger-- who's written hits for T-ara, 4minute, and Beast-- and Brave Brothers who's worked with Son Dambi and After School. Shinsadong Tiger wrote for C-Real the song "Please Don't Do This", while Brave Brothers wrote "No No No No No".

The girls have yet to really build up their status to be considered one of the top tier girl groups. However, with the release of their ballad "Sorry But I" in 2012, they were able to break into the top 10 tier of real-time music charts. "Sorry But I" was composed by Kim Se-jin, who's written hit songs for Seo Young-eun and Jung Yeop's "What An Awful Word" and Wheesung's "After A Year". It features a more folk rock sound with an analogue synth.
