Hello Venus attracted attention even before their debut, being that they were headed by the same agency that brought us After School and Son Dambi: Pledis Entertainment.

The name is to express the members' friendly appeal (Hello) while at the same time showing off their unapproachable beauty (Venus).
Basically, they seek to greet their fans as the 21st century Venus goddesses.

Their title track "Venus" is energetic dance number with a bright, upbeat rhythm. It's a song about cheering on those timid men of this generation. Just as popular as the audio though, was the music video which created fans through the visual appeal of each of the members.
