The two female and four male suspects involved in the killing of Kim Jong-nam were found to have visited the scene of the crime before his death on Monday
Malaysian media reported that the suspects were caught on security camera footage wandering about Kuala Lumpur International Airport on Sunday, a day prior to the assassination.
They were seen spraying each other with a canister as if they were playing tricks.
Investigators believe the suspects were searching for a site to pull off the assault and that the men were the brains of the crime.
Meanwhile, a female suspect who was arrested holding an Indonesian passport, is said to have testified that she thought she was joining a prank for a reality television show. She said she accepted a man’s offer of one hundred dollars to help draw people’s attention.
Malaysian authorities have tightened border security to prevent the suspects from getting away.
Kim Jong-nam, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un’s half brother, was attacked with a toxic chemical spray on Monday and died en route to hospital.
