Report: The South Korean military is confirmed to have reported to parliament about its new concept of operations, or CONOPS, for a mission to annihilate North Korean leader Kim Jong-un's command.

A military source in Seoul on Sunday revealed the details of the CONOPS, dubbed Korea Massive Punishment and Retaliation(KMPR).

In the outline of its future operations, the South Korean military is said to have divided the capital city Pyongyang into several districts, and the massive attack would be focused on a few kilometer radius spanning Kim's office, his airplane and rail stations.

In the event of an imminent North Korean nuclear attack, the military will use its Hyunmoo-3 cruise missiles and air-to-surface Taurus missiles to turn the target section of Pyongyang into ashes.

Laser-guided two-thousand-200 kilogram GBU-28 and the JDAM bunker busters will be fired at Kim's underground facilities.

A military official warned that the South Korean military will remove Pyongyang from the map if signs of a North Korean nuclear attack are detected.

Lieutenant General Lim Ho-young of the South Korean Joint Chiefs of Staff strategy planning bureau said that a commando unit will be dispatched to Pyongyang to confirm that the enemy commanders are removed.

“Along with the striking capabilities of simultaneously firing precision-guided missiles, a special elite operational unit will be utilized."

As the key to a successful Massive Punishment and Retaliation operation lies in finding out the precise location of Kim Jong-un, the military has beefed up its reconnaissance activities.
